The Photo Gallery is a collection of slide shows depicting work that goes on within the Arghand Cooperative and daily life in Kandahar.  Most of the photographs were taken by Sarah Chayes.

Updates describe noteworthy developments within the Arghand community (the cooperative and the Trust) as they unfold.  This section of the website will be updated regularly.

Notes from the Field are personal dispatches from Sarah to her ever-expanding network of friends and supporters, dating back to 2005.

Videos were shot and edited by Jennie Green.  They were taken over a 6-day period in early February 2009, during which time the cooperative was scheduled to receive and install a 5.2 kw solar electric system.
